Birmingham Heartlands Hospital
Heartlands Hospital is situated in a residential area, with bus routes to Birmingham City Centre and Solihull Town Centre. Heartlands Hospital is the larger of the Trust sites and the accommodation is situated on the grounds of the hospital on the second floor of Devon House, which is situated at the rear of the hospital, consisting of single rooms laid out in a dormitory style, i.e. long corridor with rooms on each side. Laundry facilities are available in the laundry room on the first floor.
Heartlands Accommodation has 42 rooms, 18 of which are en-suite. The remaining rooms are located on our West and East wings which are divided into male and female accommodation and these rooms have separate bathroom facilities which are shared with the other residents on that wing. There are two separate kitchens, one on each wing and there are also two dining areas located near to each kitchen.
Solihull Hospital
Solihull Hospital accommodation is situated within a two minute walk from Solihull Town Centre which has a wide variety of shops and restaurants and good travel links. The long term accommodation is situated within the Coniston building, which has 24 rooms consisting of 8 flats (single sex only) over 3 floors, each with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and lounge.
Laundry facilities are located on the ground floor of Mallory Building within the Doctors’ Mess.
Good Hope Hospital
Good Hope Hospital is situated in a residential area close to Sutton Coldfield town centre with good travel links. The Hospital is the second largest of the Trust sites and the accommodation is situated on the perimeter of the hospital on Bedford Road, which backs onto our main staff car park. We have 9 semi detached houses consisting of 3 large single rooms, kitchen, lounge, bathroom and small box room, which is suitable for storage. 3 of the houses are allocated for on-call use and the remaining houses are allocated for long term residents. Laundry facilities are located within House no.15.
